Celebrity Hockey Benefit
Join us for an evening of family entertainment. The Pittsburgh Celebrity Team will face off against a team of players for the Arthritis Foundation on March 14, 2003 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at the Airport Ice Arena in Moon Township. The Celebrity Team is made up of well-known Pittsburgh Penguin alumni, athletes from other Pittsburgh professional sports team and media celebrities. There will also be a special appearance by the Pittsburgh Penguin's mascot, Iceburgh.
The mission of the Pittsburgh Celebrity Team is to promote the game and goodwill of hockey with the focus of raising money for worthy charities while projecting a positive, value-added image of the alumni and celebrities and thereby touching people's lives in a highly meaningful way.
All proceeds from ticket purchases go to support the programs and services of the Arthritis Foundation, Western Pennsylvania Chapter. This Chapter serves over 1/2 million persons in western Pennsylvania living with the chronic pain of arthritis.
